The first BIOXPARC technology park is under construction on a total area of 300 hectares, located 25 km from the city of Marrakech. Positioned in a unique landscape, at the foot of the Atlas Mountains,
and only 30 minutes by road from Menara Marrakech International Airport, it is the ideal environment to host researchers from all over the world.
BIOXPARC Marrakech will be the Central Hub of the entire network of BIOXPARC parks installed worldwide: thanks to modern connection technologies, BIOXPARC Marrakech will also offer
services to all technology parks and partner research centers, reducing costs and at the same time maintaining the highest international standards.
Many foreign companies, universities and investors have expressed their intention to install permanently in the BIOXPARC Morocco, to immediately benefit from the numerous tax advantages granted by the government and all trade and partnership agreements.
According to the built spaces –offices, expo stands, congresses, laboratories, etc.) And to the promotion strategies of events (fairs, congresses, conferences, awards, etc.) the BIOXPARC Marrakech Tahannout will host at least 15,000 companies in the first 5 years of activity, of which at least 1200 are permanently.
In addition, it is estimated that at least 500 companies will invest in the construction of their own premises with local production units with a total investment of at least 1.5 billion euros. Another N° 2500 will form their own company to manage their African markets and other countries with a total investment of 160 million euros. At least N° 5000 will currently use the operating structures inside the park and in the region (scientific research, B-to-B meetings, events, conferences, etc. with a total expenditure of 300 million euros.
A similar reasoning applies to the attraction of capital or of other businesses. Successful of BOIXPARC project may be instrumental in conveying fresh capital from outside investors, which will find better investment opportunities in the region, more qualified personnel, and research and development facilities that are of interest to certain industrial sectors. This effect contributes towards increasing regional competitiveness.
